We have kunekune pigs, so they don’t do nearly as much rooting as most of the hogs I grew up raising, but even with a low amount of hooves (pig and goat) per acre on my hobby farm, I still wear my muck boots 70% of the time in winter when out and about. Anyone who has ever lived and worked in real agriculture knows it’s not an antiseptic, always cleanliness focused environment. But the removal 90% of people have from their foods combined with advertising’s filters means people don’t see or understand that. I appreciate your honesty and openness.

Thank you for writing, and keeping it mucky. My attention is anything but flattened.
